HI! I have just accepted a prn night shift position 7p-7a. I have a 4 year old and a 3 month old. I worked days before my baby was born so this will be my first time to work nights. I am not sure how days can be much better for me at this point, because we don't get to sleep around here until 11pm and i get up about 2 times a night on average. It will take me at least an hour to get to work,so if i worked days, i would have to get up at the latest 4:15 am. I am not moving too well in the mornings these days. Since i have accepted the night shift position, my husband said that he would give it a try, since he is the one who would have to get up with the baby. They will pay me 28 dollars per hour and i plan on working only 2 nights per week. Is there anyone out there that has done this before? If so, how did it work out? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am curious to see if i can handle it.
