I been hearing this debate off and on for a long time about how if Obama gets universal healthcare to go ( if he gets elected of course)though in the US that nursing pay will be cut dramatically. I would think this has to do with the fact that we would all be working for the government and that there will no longer be competition. There are many people in my nursing class that said they will leave nursing if thats the case. I also talked to several doctors that said the same thing about medicine in general. Im just curious if anyone has some good info about this. Thanks
2) The USA last time I checked has 300K nurse vacancies, are they really going to cut pay, encourage you to leave, stay open and so invite the likelihood of increased ligation?
Dangerous statistic for an argument when you start to look at the number of qualified nursing students turned away from nursing schools each year. When it becomes politically beneficial to do so, it won't matter if there is a Republican, Democrat, or Martian in the white house, only small adjustments in legislation needs to be made for us to open the flood gates and produce more RNs than Obama campaign promises.
As to what he's been through. Not only did other POW's NOT talk there are things in life WAY worse than physical torture. He has no permanent damage so how badly did they torture him. Where is his PTSD? Exactly. No permanent damage? He can't raise his arms past his chest-he can't salute anymore. You don't consider that permanent damage? Just because he doesn't overtly display his PTSD doesn't mean his is not or has not experienced the impact of being tortured for so long.

I could ask you the same question... What was the point of your post?
Asd to McCains arms, I earlier videos he lifts them up. Prove it was due to torture that he can't do so now.
As to PTSD, if he really was tortured so long he most likely would display his PTSD. He can't even hide his tempre, or disrespect, but he can hide his PTSD?
Secondly, his fellow POWs dispute his story so that pretty much is that.

I have not heard that his pow story was disputed. Can you tell me where to find this information?

No one is saying he wasn't a POW. Just that he isn't being as forthright as he should. The main thing is that he claims certain things about Vietnam and everyone defends him because he is a Vet and POW. Well other vets and POWs dispute what he says.
Quite simply he is a liar and a songbird...

No doubt, conservatibe blogs suit you more.
Information that can be independantly verified by multiple source and that stands the test of time is reliable.
What isn't reliable are people that rely on their beliefs and not the facts.
Facts are in your face and they can not be spun. More fellow POWs of McCain than not have stood against him.
If McCain is to be taken at his word then so are they. As such, the sheer number of POWs speaking about his behavior would qualify as fact. If that is not enough, his documented behavior and the files released with the Freedom of Info Act are further proof.
While you are free to make your own decision, those that make their choice in blindness and on faith show the poorness of their wisdom. It is a sign of poor judgment to not examine the facts without bias and then make a judicious decision.
Either you are blindly following McCain or you purposely ignore the evidence. Either one is a frightening thought.
Unfortunately this is the way of the world. People hear one thing, watch one show or read one holy book and believe they have found the truth of things.
Belief. The scariest of all acts of irrationality.

I thought it would be fitting to end your post with something like this "...so shut-up you rich jerks and pay for MY health care".
But to be quite honest I don't know what the solution is. My gut tells me there are much more complex variables at play here then we are recognizing
