What do you all think? You probably know that I am critical of the breakdown of the economy due to the lockdown. That seems to be more of a Democratic agenda, to shut down the economy.
On the other hand, it appears that Trump is a little despotic in his attitudes. He is confrontational and un-apologetic about his outrageous statements. He does nothing to calm the populist and deescalate situations.
Do you think he will try to declare a state of emergency and invoke martial law to avoid an election?

My opinion is that Trump will do anything to avoid being defeated in November.

Funny that you think that destruction of the economy is a democratic goal given the economic history of the two parties over the last 30 years. Trump is a dangerous authoritarian. Our Senate essentially told him in February that he can't break the law and whatever is good for him is good for the country.
That seems to be working out well.

Please flesh this comment out as it makes no sense.
