Will it help to take US Certified Post Graduate Training and Seminars from NCCLEX

Published

It was referred to me by my friend in the US who said her training there helped her so much in her work right now!

I plan to enrol but i'd like to ask for suggestions from you guys!

please help!

Sorry, but no. If you wish to spend the money, go right ahead. But any employer in the US will provide the training that they wish for you to have, and at their expense.

yes its true. i have nothing against them but taking those "things" are unnecessary. i have tried it but in my opinion, it did'nt help.its a waste of money..

I guess it depends on who's taking it. Some people actually go there to learn and use the information to their advantage.

suounds there is misunderstanding going on, pls be more specific to what you really meant! what is ncclex actually??

well from what i know NC-CLEX means Nursing Center for Clinical Lab Experience and they give trainings on different courses such as IV therapy, Respiratory, ACLS, BLS, PALS, EKG , TELEMETRY and DIALYSIS

kinda expensive but im actually interested so that i could kick start my nursing career when i enter the hospital on march 4 hehe

its a waste of money. is this the onw in morayta? telling acredited in the US.

These programs are not accepted in the US, no matter what they tell you. The same way that the LPN training there will get you a visa to work in the US, just not going to happen.

Save your money.

the training classes and certificates/licenses from the National Center for Clinical Laboratory Experience (NC-CLEX) are NOT recognized/accredited in the US. i know because i took some of those classes. i am now a Registered Nurse here in the US and, believe me, they are not accepted here. besides, those training classes are practically useless because you should have learned all of them already in nursing school.

that being said, i also believe that being OVER-educated is better than being UNDER-educated. as the saying goes--- knowledge is power.

so, if you feel that your nursing skills need reinforcement and you have the extra money to spend, then go ahead and take some of the classes. otherwise, you would be better off just studying for the NCLEX-RN.

good luck!

Rookie_RN, what state are you currently in?

i worked for 1 year as an RN in the san francisco bay area. but the standard of living (like, EVERYTHING!) is WAY too expensive there.

i am now in portland, oregon.
