UST hospital- Accepting applications but prefers UST grads. I was one of the lucky few who is a non graduate but I did not continue, although I started the training for a month. My batchmates are now working as casuals and contract will expire december of this year. So Jan 2011 they will have new hiring for casuals again. 5k for 3 months training with food when we have classes. if in the nueva vizcaya area: PLT (Luis Tiam Medical Center) is accepting volunteer for 10 months duration. Hi I'm a December 2007 taker. I think Dec 07 batch is already being given out since I got mine already.. but a lil story about my board cert there's a missing signature from one of the board members aaargh..so I have to go back there in January. Hey are you applying for SRO-MOH also? Maybe we could go together or something? I'm the only one processing my papers and some of my friends are really icky about going to Saudi... my cousin is there already sheesh... I heard some of them folks there have vaio laptops already.. it just takes some time for some new hospitals in KSA to be systematized...and be civilized as well lol...

Hi guys! Like most of you I also want to work in KSA under the SRO-MOH, but as I was waiting for my board cert (got it already); one of my friends who went there had a problem with regards to her pay. She's been there for 3 months and still she hasn't received her salary. Now I'm having doubts. If ever I'd do work for no pay it better be close to home (like volunteering?) Want to know your two cents on this...

hey guys I'm sorry for the late reply the initial interview in SLMC-GC is quite easy...we were in 3's and we were given a minute to collect our thoughts on why we chose nursing and why we want to apply in SLMC-GC and after talking we were again given a minute to say something about our family and their backgrounds..after which I asked what will happen to our application and she said that if we pass the initial interview then we will be called for the techical interview (this is the NSG Division Panel) and after that a written exam and then medical screening and then training and then deployment..

I got interviewed already yipee! still I'm waiting for the technical interview..I was advised by the HR to lose weight..aargh was that for real? anyways..I'm hoping I get a call from them:cry:..and by the way my friend is also waiting to be called in for the technical interview..

This is a good thread suzanne..I was thinking of putting up a Nursing Clinic but I'm still unsure of what to do about it.. I always envision a facility where clients can recuperate after operations or a hospice that looks like a hotel of some sort..

Arrgh. it really is so hard to look for a job..and I'm quite depressed right now because I have a friend and we both applied to St lukes hospital and she was called for an interview whereas here I am still waiting for the call and the text message.. sigh.. there's an opening for St luke's hospital in The Fort Bonifacio and it will be operational in October 2009..training will be in SLMC QC.. that's what I heard..sigh I hope I get interviewed too (I scored higher than her in NLE lol)

well from what i know NC-CLEX means Nursing Center for Clinical Lab Experience and they give trainings on different courses such as IV therapy, Respiratory, ACLS, BLS, PALS, EKG , TELEMETRY and DIALYSIS kinda expensive but im actually interested so that i could kick start my nursing career when i enter the hospital on march 4 hehe

hi soundbites21 thanks for the info! regarding your post..how did you acquire your immigrant visa for canada? I'm actually planning to apply in canada now that the US retrogression is still ongoing. A lot of nursing vacancies there require experience and I'm glad that you are proof that we don't need to have exp..(well I actually want to work here in PI for exp). Anyway, I don't know how to get the visa to get there..I mean I have the funds and all but the prob is I don't have the visa..thanks Im now confused.

also a second courser here ..but i don't have the same experiences with you guys..because unlike you we don't have any events such as filipino week or nursing week..what we only have is the annual foundation day..:balloons: students mind their own thing which is sad because there's no unity in the school..
