Will this be too hard??

Hello guys I'm new to this ...and very thankful for this forum.
Well my question is, since i hear that anatomy and microbiology is hard, is taking these two classes together in the same semester too difficult?
I will also be taking a Developmental Psychology class, a CNA course, and a Clincal Medical Assisting course as well. I feel like it will be a fun semester but just a little worried if i will make it.
Is this overbearing? Has anyone done this(or similar and succeeded)? Any advice (recommendations)?

You can do it! I am a single mommy to 2 kids (8,3) and took a CNA course, A&P II, communications and medical terminology and managed a 3.7 GPA for the semester. It is A LOT OF WORK---but, what I found was that I didn't have time to stop, therefore I kept working and studying and although a lot of people doubted my ability to make it, let alone manage all A's and (and one stinkin B) I had a great semester. Someone else mentioned that the skills learned will all overlap each other, that was very true for me with my classes and it worked out great. My only advice is believe in yourself and the rest will follow.

Wow... sounds like a bit much to me. But you know your own limits, so do what you think is right for you. Just curious... what are you pursuing a degree in? Just asking because you are taking a CNA and a medical assisting course and it is my understanding that CNAs and medical assistants are two separate occupations?? I dunno. Just wondering.

Wow that's really inspiring! I've wanted to be a nurse for some time now but I thought the classes would be too hard for me. The woman who inspired me to be a nurse was in her 30's, married, had two kids, and still managed to do extremely well in her classes! I figured that no matter how hard the classes were for me, they wouldn't be nearly as hard as they were for her! I'm only 18, not married, and no kids... and I don't even have a part-time job!

It all boils down to how much time and committment you can give. I have a loving husband, 2 loving teenagers, 3 dogs who are bearing the brunt of all the classes I'm in for the summer semester. I'm currently taking A & P I, College Algebra, Human Growth and Development and finally Chemistry. My schedule consists of studying and doing homework 6 out of 7 days, for 10 -12 hours a day. Fall semester gets alittle lighter with only A & P II, Micro and 1 final Math. Whew thank god! So again it all depends on your dispiline and time you can commit.

I did the same thing! Anatomy, Micro, I think statistics and one other cake course... plus a part time job. But, I'm a quick study, and had lotsa help (my roommate was a year ahead of me in Nursing school!)

My main tip for Anatomy would be an anatomy coloring book! It seems like a waste of time, but coloring all of those different bones/muscles/etc/etc and repeating the terms over and over in my head really helped them stick. And, not too expensive either!

I took Anatomy and Microbiology at the same time while also taking a logic and critical thinking class and working full time. It was definitely a challenge but you can do it

several of my classmates are taking A and P 2 and micro together (a&P 1 is a requirment for micro) most are doing okay. busy but doable. i dont know about you but our cna courses were condensed so only 8 weeks but 3 nights aweek 5 hours a night. even thought it wasn't a hard course it was really draining for me , just to take it with a & p 1. it was my first step back into school after 8 years though and I have kids and a part time job.
