Why do most (many) CRNAs not like to work OB? Loisann and Yoga; do you like OB? Why or why not?
I have completed my OB rotation and, seriously, loved it. I'm in neurosurg now and pretty much could take it or leave it.
Vulgar? Please. I can't believe how offended people are getting. It was a funny joke, I guess...., but it's even more funny how upset you all are. Chill out.
Ok, I will probably get heat from the users here for my actions. But Deepz, your joke did nothing to further the topic being discussed. My goal, for the CRNA forum is to keep it professional and non inflamatory. there is no reason to upset others on the board for a quick laugh.
Lets keep the discussions objective, and not objectionable.

Ok, I heard a good one the other day a while back from one of our CV surgeons:
Q: What's the difference between a neurosurgeon and a sperm?
A: At least the sperm has a one in a million chance of becoming a human being.
Did you find this joke offensive and vulgar? I sure didn't. Why is it that we can joke about everyone else, but not about ourselves. And by the way, for the couple of people that made reference to polish jokes, I'm polish and love a good Polak joke. I'm also a blonde and not easily offended at blonde jokes. It's like a double whammy, blonde and Polish, but I've got a good enough sense of humor to not take everything to heart.
Maybe this wasn't the best place for deepz to tell a joke like that....I mean, come on deep, you had to know that was going to get a bunch of panties in a bunch....but vulgar? Whatever..... I thought it was semi-funny.

I think a review of TOS is in order for some here....
I think that joke fits the 'vulgar' category pretty nicely. I have just as warped a sense of humour as any other nurse, but, deepz, you have to learn: Women do NOT take kindly to jokes about their weight! It's no different from telling a tasteless Polish joke in front of a group of Poles.
I think an apology is in order.
