I'm trying so hard to get straight A's and it is so hard!! Like as of right now In my first semester of college I have 2 B's and 3 A's but it's not enough.
Just last week in my Organic Chem class, I failed my first quiz with a D+, but ever since then I have been studying so much in that class and it did pay off for me because I got a whooping 100% on my second quiz (Which put me at a B). But it's still not enough. I'm really good at English but I got a B- on my first paper and I just don't see myself getting good grades this semester. I also have an essay due weekly and I keep getting 90/100 on all of them, an then in my Anthropology class I can't seem to get a 100% on all of writing assignments either...
But I admit I spend hours a day on Netflix and it may be compromising my grades but if I don't have Netflix in my life it would just be all about school and nothing else. I mean if I can't have a social life then at least I have Netflix.
So how did you all get good grades and keep them?

I read some of your earlier posts. Something does not add up, I wonder if maybe one of those deer got you........
Lol... No the deers didn't get me, I just take the bus. And what do you mean my story doesn't add up? What reasons do I have to lie??
Glad to see you're still alive. I was afraid the deers or rabid rabbits got you.
I had to get rid of my Netflix subscription because I was watching way too much of Grey's Anatomy. Netflix is awesome yet simultaneously evil.
I'm concerned about the pressure you're putting on yourself to get all A's. This is not necessary! In fact, it can go against you sometimes. I had all A's and was asked in a couple of interviews to tell them what I did to be a person who didn't JUST study.
I get the personal achievement thing, but pushing yourself too much can damage you in other ways.
You need to have a life besides school.
Taking organic chemistry before 2 semesters of general chemistry is not a smart move at all. How do you expect to have a foundational knowledge of chemistry by skipping the very basics of it and jumping into organic chemistry? It makes absolutely no sense to me that the registrar at your school even allowed this.

Well then study hard & back off the Netflix.
