Who's applying for Augusta University's CNL program 2017

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I am taking pre-reqs and getting ready to apply. I would love to hear from others who are applying.

Mine is saying ready for review now. At first it was saying that documents were missing. Then it said incomplete. It now says ready for review. So, we shall see. *fingers crossed*

That's a good question! My big clue was that when I checked my status on the AU site it still listed the Supplemental Application under "Required Documents Not Received". Does yours say the same? If it's listen under "Received" I would imagine that it means they have at least pulled the application and are prepping to review it:)

Hopefully that means you are close! I'm debating going on the tour on the 9th. I went last year, but it's been a while so I wouldn't mind going on it again and ask some questions I hadn't thought of then:)

Hopefully. How was the tour??? What additonal questions do you have???

The tour was really informative last year! It was lead by two of the senior CNL students and we toured the lab facilities, lecture hall, library, and a few other areas. A lot of people that went (myself included) weren't aware that the tour would be led by students who were available to answer questions the entire time we were walking, so it was kind of a missed opportunity to get a better feel for what life was actually like as a student. I would love to hear more about what their weekly schedule looks like, how clinicals work (locations, exposure to specialties, etc.) and any more info they had to offer.

Gotcha. Those are great questions.

Seems like it's been a quiet week. Anyone heard anything? Have anything to report?

Hi ladies! I've been so busy with school that I've been MIA. Last week I was pleasantly surprised when I received an invitation to interview. Yesterday, I interviewed on the Athens campus!

Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you... I haven't heard anything at all. =(

Thank you! I bet you'll hear something soon. It's still early in the process, and you got your application in early!

Yeah... That is so true!!! I'm still grateful and hopeful!!! Everything is going to work out as it should. When did you submit your application???

I submitted my application on 11/10. I think the reason that I was selected for an interview relatively quickly is because of my work and volunteer experience. It's pretty directly related to things that are part of the CNL role.

Apologies if anyone is reading this for the second time, I posted on the other AU CNL board as well:)

Has anyone who applied right before Thanksgiving checked their status on the Augusta University website? Mine is still showing "incomplete" and saying that my supplemental application is missing (I submitted it 11/21). Last Wednesday the CNL Program Manager told me that admissions hadn't pulled the applications from NursingCAS yet and that the supplemental application would be paired up once it was pulled from the system. Admissions told me on Friday that "the system must not have updated yet", hence the status page still saying the application is missing. I'm just making sure that someone else is in the same boat and it's not just me:)
