I just had to share that a little over 2 weeks ago I gave birth to my first child....Since she decided to come a month early she ended up in the NICU and a few days after being discharged she ended up back in the hospital because of her jaundice. Every nurse that took care of us was so wonderful and they definitely reinforced my decision to pursue such a noble profession....I have a whole new appreciation for nurses and the work that they do.....

First, congrats on the birth of your baby! I hope she's doing better.
Second, even nurses with long years of experience get a whole new perspective when they are the pt or the loved one of a pt. It's different from the other side.

Congrats on your new loved one!!! My first born is now 20yrs old,.but I can still remember that very first moment I brought her home,.put her in her bassinet surrounded by pink et white lace,.and just sat and looked at her for hours!! I remember trying changing her over and over again so I could see her in all those cute clothes I'd been collecting over the months!! Isn't it great?!! I wish you the best of luck. Have fun loving your new little one!!!!
