I am hoping to start this Fall at Deaconess. I am currently waiting to hear back from the hospital where I want to do my clinicals.... Deaconess said that lining that up should help me get in for the Fall. I really really hope that I get in. Everyone cross their fingers..... I will let you know at the end of March, that is when the decision will be made.

Well I hope to start this fall as well. I have finally had my contract sent to the college from the local hospital in my area. I hope we will keep in touch! please feel free to email me at: [email protected]

I just got an acceptance letter in the mail..... I will be starting in the summer! I had applied and they put me on the wait list (I was 2nd on the wait list) and I just got in! I am so happy.... I was afraid I wouldn't even make it for the fall session!

Thank you to both of you! I am so happy... I have just been so confused about what I want to do with the rest of my life until the birth of my son. He is 2 now and I can remember how kind the nurses at the hospital were to me. I was 18 and my son's BF left me when I found out I was pregnant at 6 months. My parents had just split (they have remarried since) and I just had so many emotions.... this really is a dream come true. PRAISE THE LORD!

Erin from DCN Just emailed me about 20 minutes ago and told me that I was accepted for the FALL SESSION!!!!!

I cannot tell you how thankful I am that I found ALLNURSES which lead me to Deaconess and now to finally getting in to school. My chances of getting into a program here in Orlando locally would be at least a year from now or more....

Good luck to everyone else that applied...and if you cannot wait for your letter just send Erin an email...that is what I did...
