Well, I've never been fired from a job before, and the people where I worked home health assured me I did NOTHING wrong, and the DON assured me I could ALWAYS count on her to write me a good letter of reccomendation, but they were having to let me go...it's a long story. I really do not miss the job one bit (not even a tiny bit), but I'm a little worried about an income.
Anyway, I've heard nurses basically can't get unemployment. I don't want to believe this is true.
I'm supposed to get a genuine pink slip to take to the unemployment office, but what if they turn me down?
Also, I doubt anyone wants to hire an old woman who is five months pregnant and hobbling around from sciatica because of the position the baby is in.
I would like some advice on what some options would be? I would love to get out of nursing altogether but I need a job making more than $6-7/hr. I saw a job looking for telemarketers but I hate talking on the phone. I saw a job for a dishwasher, I think I would like that, but really...please advise.
