Who all is waiting to apply/hear back for Fall 2012?

Hi. Just wondering who all is applying and when? One program's deadline is April 16th and the other program's deadline is May 30th. I am so tired of waiting! I am impatient lol. I figured we could all anxiously wait together! I should know something from both by the end of July- which seems SOOOO far away!! At least I have a full summer semester schedule ahead of me and two busy little boys to keep me occupied. So, hopefully the wait won't be too bad!

The univ. I applied to gets 400-600 applications and only accepts 100 (per year) :uhoh21:

I've heard that the program I applied to gets hundreds too and only accepts 40! Hang in there!

Oh wow! Guess I'm not alone them. Good luck to you all. Starting next week, I'll be checking the mail everyday until the 30th. Admissions lady said we'll know by the 30th and the director told me it should actually be more like around mid-June so I have no clue when it will be. Obviously, finding out this coming up week is preferred lol. Fingers crossed, but I'm still not getting my hopes up. I seriously doubt I'll get in with that many.

I was chosen to be an alternate. Not an absolute "no", but still, not a yes either. I applied only at the community college I did my pre-req's at, and they got around 400 or so applications this semester, but only accept 48 students. I am going to call Monday and see how far down the list I am. Good luck and congrats to every one!

I seriously doubt I'll get in with that many.

You can't tell yourself that!!! I'm not saying to get your hopes up (because none of us should), but you can't put yourself down either :hug:

Thanks for that. :) it's just hard. I'm sure you know that though. It's going to be a LONG three weeks! I've been waiting since two weeks before the deadline lol so it seems like it's really drawn out! I've told me husband he has to open the letter and tell me because I can't take doing it myself. He says he will unless it's a denial-- in that case he's gonna stick it back in the mailbox and let me find it so he doesn't have to tell me. Watch me get it next Thursday, on my way to school.. For a 24 page chemistry exam. That will not be fun at all. Can't leave after the exam because we have a lab to do. (our mailbox is a long ways away from our house so I check it on my way out those days). I'll try to be more positive. After all, it's in Gods hands. I know he'll make a way for me, somehow.. Someday.

I know exactly what you mean. I submitted mine 2 weeks before the deadline as well. :bugeyes:

But I'm sure once the letter gets here, it's going to be the exact opposite for me! I'm going to get the letter, lock myself in my room (with my mom screaming in the background yelling excitedly for me to tell her what it says) and read it to myself before I share, lol

Eash....Sorry about the exam. Just prepare and you'll be OK. :cool:

The deadline was May 15th and we were supposed find out 3 weeks after (about now). I called yesterday and they now said the end of the month! :eek: ugh.... just have to wait it out...

I just got an email stating I was on waitlist for fall 2012. Kettering college of.medical arts anyone know what this means?
