  1. I did do a basic comm class. This is effective public speaking. I also have a license in counseling, so I thought about challenging it because obviously there is a level if public speaking involved with group therapy.
  2. I have a previous undergrad in psych. I have open spots for electives, at the start if all of this they told me I could integrate some if these classes into my schedule. Now they are saying otherwise. So here I sit. I can do one that will be done by october but they aren't accepting that. It really stinks. I have done everything but this last communications class.
  3. Does anyone know of a college that offers a com class in two week period of time? I have to have that class done before aug. 27th or I can't start nursing school
  4. the programs that I have applied for are extremely competitive. I have a 3.7 in pre req GPA but a low cumulative GPA due to them counting my first undergraduate degree. I have good hesi score and overall a good canidate. I missed the first program by a .010 in GPA cut off:-( . This last program there where 405 that applied for 88 positions. I am 15 on the waitlist for that. This doesnt mean that I am not qualified to be a nurse. Just program sizes are small. most people I know have applied more than once before they where accepted.
  5. Thanks for the encouraging words. I am going to retake some of the pre req courses. But as far as applying to more than two I dont really have an option I don't want to do adn because I am reaching my cap for undergraduate federal aid money. most jobs in this area require a bsn. If I get my adn I will have to pay for bsn too. There is a two year wait list for adn and the some of the pre req are different.:-(
  6. I started this whole process almost 2 yrs ago. I have applied at two different schools at different times and just found out that I porb not getting accepted to the, second school. I have a previous degree in psychology and have a counseling license. When I started all this I had no idea it would take this long. I am feeling frustrated and defeated.
  7. Ok so I am on an alternate list for fall admission to kettering medical college. 405 applied and only 88 made the cut I was placed on alternate list of 31 people. I've been told that I am in the middle third. So anywhere from 11 to 20, do u think I have a shot?
  8. Depends on the level of the crime. Was it a felony. It should be fine if it wasn't a felony. But still not 100% sure about that.
  9. Do you have to have lpn for this? I have a ba in psychology. Just looking for some options. Thanks
  10. I just got an email stating I was on waitlist for fall 2012. Kettering college of.medical arts anyone know what this means?
