O.K. I just got my letter! I have been accepted into the fall program. Orientation is May 19. Can't wait! So, who else is in? :)

The letter says they took 159 for the program but it did not state how many alternates were chosen.

Congratulations Kendra01, our scores were close. Just wondering if they told you what your rank is? Thanks.

thanks McGinnis, she told me I was ranked 121 so we may start around the same time. Congrats :)

Congrats to all of you, I graduated from MCC in May 09...When we were accepted, we were able to find out our ranking from the registration department when we went to pay our acceptance deposit. I'd ranked #41, which would have made me an October start, but I contacted Terri (the nursing dept secretary) and mentioned I was interested in starting in August if possible...sure enough, there we a few people who would have been slated for August but chose to start in January because they still had to finish Micro, or wanted to wait for financial reasons, and I was able to start in August.

Enjoy your summer...you are about to embark on the most hectic and stressful two years of your life. That said, you will learn SO much at Macomb, it seriously is one of the best nursing programs around...I have worked with nurses that graduated from 4yr programs that did not understand the rationale for so many things that was considered basic knowledge at Macomb.

I second this congrats! I also ranked 41! (I am finishing my first year at MCC right now). I agree with this post very much, you will learn a ton! Don't get intimidated by what you hear, I have worked my butt off but it has been worth it the entire time! The instructors are amazing and I can't believe how far I have come since last August (I think I was shaking when I walked into my first class!).

Good luck to all of you and I will see you in the halls next year!

Thanks for the great advice. This is really nerve wracking. :D

You have to have a certain amount of posts (15 I believe) to be able to send a PM to people. You will have a little icon, that looks like a piece of paper and a pencil once you are able to PM someone, it will appear on someone's comments.

I went up to Macomb today to pay my $100 and I ranked #23!! WOOHOO. Can't wait to begin :)

Congrats to you all!!! I am just finishing up my first semester in the program. I really love it. It is a lot of work but doable as other people have said. :D

I got my letter wednesday April 28th. My fiance' called me and gave me the good news. I broke down. I called my sister (who graduated from Macomb's Nursing program) and told her " your little brother is going to be like you in two years!" I will see all you guys on the 19th I will be the guy with the smile ear to ear!!!!!!!!

murph1981, congrats! I think that we all may be either smiling from ear to ear or stone cold serious from nerves!
