NPR asked it's listeners who are the best Muppets  happy to see Kermit #1 but totally disagree with other top 5.     Beaker and Rowlf don't belong in top five!!       Big Bird  #14 --- come on!!  Demand a recount here...

See BIG BIRD deserves a higher ranking.... stumbled across this TV station promo in my internet wanderings today.  Forgot Morgan Freeman was part of the Electric Factory--- he's still rocking today.

I read that survey.  My favorite Muppet is the Divine Swine, Miss Piggy. Elmo is next. Very simple & childlike.

But my all time fav is Mokie, from Fraggle Rock. A free spirit. Like a chil hippy-dippy.

Mokie was Da Bomb! I actually have my own Mokie stuffed doll. And their album.

Loved the Trash Heap also. She was cool - and when she sang her theme song, it was coolest thing!
