Hi Everyone,
I wanted to start this thread, so that prospective applicants to the nursing program can share our ideas and journey.
Thanks:)
Hey,
I was trying to reply, but kept getting an error message.
I got 88.40% cumulative
Vocab 76%
A&P 88%
Grammar 92%
Math 94%
Reading 92%
I took the Vocabulary part first. I was betting on that section and memorized every single word from the word bank I created using two HESI study textbooks along with Internet sources. Ironically, it was my lowest score. I encountered maybe two or three words from text/quizzlet/proprofs.
Upsetting, but there was nothing else I could have done. I guess, they don't want to give students a chance to study for this section because they want to see the actual level.
Missycarlious, I hope you feel better.
it hurts to pay $60, but now you have extra time to study.
Suggestions:
Take the personality profile parts first and quickly. It will help you to calm down a little bit and gather your strength for the main sections.
Leave the the part that you think is the hardest for last. I did reading last because I'm a slow reader, and English is my second language.
Know how to convert from decimals to fractions and vice versa. It will help you check your work on the calculator.
Know metric conversions: kg to g, m to km, L to mL. Know 1oz = 30 g.
Lanekone, I was just about to write to you, it went good I got 88% Overall, however I am looking for a place where they have the detalied results I cannot find it. How did you see your detailed results when you came home. I only saw it at the testing center. I took your advice I started with the personality test and I worked my way up. My weakness is math so I did that last. After 2 hrs, my head started spinning, I was kinda dizzy so i took a 2 min break to drink soda and wen i came bk I was fine:).. Am glad its over, bt not fully.. I need to study for TEAS now...Lawd hv mercy...

Lanekone, how did it go? And how long does it take to get your results?
