White uniform dress common nowadays?

Are there any nurses out there who wear the white uniform dress in hospitals, nursing homes, etc.?

Right now, I seen many nurses wearing something like this:

Do hospitals, nursing homes, etc. have certain rules about what type of nursing uniforms that should be worn?

You know once you get dressed and check yourself out in the mirror. you go to work and forget what you are wearing...other people are more aware of your clothes than you are

as for ben maybe us ladies might like your hairy legs

I would gladly wear a white skirt if evryone else had to. :)

I have a feeling we work at the same hospital. I don't mind the white so much, especially b/c it just has to be the white pants and it could be blue or purple tops. I think it helps a LOT to identify the different personnel.

Nah...I work in LTC, not a hospital :) And, I have to wear ALL white...yukk!

And yes, NurseyBaby'05, I'm so paranoid when I'm due for my period. What a pain!

I haven't worn an all-white nursing uniform since the late 1980's.
