How did the interviews go for everyone who already got interviewed with white memorial? What questions did they ask? How many people were in the panel? Were they scary/strict/strict/mean? all of the above? Obviously.. i'm kinda nervous since this is my first panel interview...

I recieved a call from them Wednesday afternoon to come in for the panel interview on Monday. A good friend of mine is in the March 2011 cohort and she told me that they will be asking 3 clinical experiences questions and 1 critical thinking question. I am more worried about the critical thinking. Can anyone give insight on what the critical question would be like? For some reason I'm thinking NCLEX questions, symptoms, interventions, and evaluation.

Just had mine yesterday. There were only two ladies on my panel interview and they were super laid back. Like the other poster said there will be 3 situational questions "tell me about a time when this situation happened" and one critical thinking question that you have to analyze a patients assessment data and come up with some nursing diagnosis and interventions. Not bad. Also they asked me why I personally wanted to work there.
I got a call back with a 2nd interview, crossing fingers that I can finally land a hospital job!
congrats on getting a second interview!! Do you know if they already called everyone they picked from the first round? I had my interview this week also and I'm just wondering if I still have a shot? May I ask what you unit you are going into or if they mentioned anything about that? Thank you so much for your input! I wish you luck on ur second interview!! Let us know how it goes please. thank you again. :)

I had an interview on Monday with WMMC, the other canidates I meet were really nice and great. Once I went in for the interview I kind of felt like the 2 interviewers did not like me from the start. I think I presented myself well plus during the critical thinking part of the interview I hit several important points. One of the interviewer continually kept on misinterpreting what I was saying. For example I was describing my experience working with a home care hospice patient, I said "my fellow classmate who are unlucky to have had to encounter patient death run into a really unfortunate situation." One of the interviewers misinterpreted what I said and she popped opened her eyes in shock and said, "you said lucky for a patient to die" I think she did not like me at all and at this point I felt like she was not listen to what I was saying and
no matter how much I tried I could not impress her. The other interviewer was very nice and commented that I looked very professional plus she said I have excellent critical thinking skills. I am not sure what to make of my interview but after it was over I had a really bad feeling. If I do not get a 2nd interview I will be ok because that is a sign from GOD that he has something better in store for me. I am grateful for having had the opportunity to interview at WMMC. I wish everyone the best of luck!!!!!!
Thanks for the best wishes! I have two 2nd interviews with med/surg and tele, and gotta do a med math quiz before I go in. Really excited! This feels the closest I've gotten to a hospital job. Does anyone know the starting pay for new gads at White. I wanted to ask during the interview but didn't want to come off as "all about the money". I got a 9 month old and one on the way so money is defineately an issue.

I just got a phone call for a panel interview. The recruiter said to just bring copies of my resume, but I'm just wondering if any of you brought cover letters too. Sorry, It's been a while since I've gone on an interview. Thanks!

Are they at least going to call to tell you you weren't chosen in the program?
I was just wondering, how long after you had your interview did you receive a call/reply from them that you will be having an interview with the unit manager and having the calculation test?
And were you called by your recruiter personally?
Thanks!
I just wanted to let people know that if you had a panel interview with WMMC and have not heard from them yet that means you did not make it. I had a panel interview about 3 weeks ago and never heard back from WMMC. I decided to call the lady that interviewed me and ask and she said I did not make it. I actually already knew I did not make it because from the moment my panel interview started I knew the two ladies did not want to hire me. I did send the two ladies a thank you note and I will never apply to WMMC again!!!! If anyone who had panel interview is still b
