Hi im curios which units or wards are the quietest / have least admissions?
im a receptionist in emergency section and it can be very stressful.

Acute care settings are fluid with a lot of throughput (admits/discharges/movement). Long term care and nursing home settings have less traffic.

Thinking about this, I think LTC probably has the least ongoing assembly line turnaround. (admissions) It's the same patients every day over a long period of time. However, it's not necessarily "quiet" because as you probably already know, there's usually a lot of cognitive deficit population.
