*Stef* has 12 years experience as a BSN, RN and specializes in Critical Care RN.

I’m a critical care resource nurse at a level 2 trauma center. I float between trauma, neuro, medical, and cardiovascular ICUs at this facility. I have been at this facility since 2012; workin critical care since 2014. I have a BSN, precept new nurses, and I’m CCRN certified. I love nursing, learning, and the good humor it takes to get through a shift.

    Acute care settings are fluid with a lot of throughput (admits/discharges/movement). Long term care and nursing home settings have less traffic.

    It was a piece of paper that came in the minila envelope they give u at orientation. It basically said that i was never convicted of a crime or had any criminal charges pending...and i had to sign it in front of a notary. maybe u didnt have to do it....

    Yes. I'm an alternate. This sucks. If we don't get in Jan, we have to wait until next August. Im so frustrated. My GPA for nursing prereqs is a 3.8 with all of my support courses finished.
