Would anyone like to comment on which nursing specialty finds the most satisfaction with less stress and good pay?

I think that depends on personal interests.
Postpartum is relatively low stress and many nurses love it- however I don't find it enjoyable at all.
It really is based on what you find interesting or stressful.

As posters have stated it depends on...you.
I would personally found LTC more stressful than I do acute care nursing. It just depends, and often becomes clear after education clinical experience, to some extent.
Best of luck!

The nurses who work in oncology are absolutely passionate about what they do, but I personally don't think I could do that type of nursing.
It all depends on the interests and personality traits of each nurse. One person might love the busy pace of the emergency department, whereas another individual may enjoy building long-term relationships with demented residents on an Alzheimer's lockdown unit.
It's different strokes for different folks.

That's a very personal and individual experience -- "different strokes for different folks," as the saying used to go.
Also, in general, stress and pay tend to go together in nursing -- good paying positions tend to be stressful positions; you take a cut in pay in order to have lower stress positions. Low stress, high pay positions are "the impossible dream" in nursing -- lots of people are looking for them, but v. few find them.

Sometimes stressful positions can be the most interesting and therefore the most satisfying. It kind of gets in our blood :).
