I like Davis's Drug Guide very much. It is very clear, easy to understand, and thorough. I also like Blanchard & Loeb's Nurse's Drug Handbook because it really goes into the mechanism of action better than any other book I've seen. It has a lot of diagrams which make the concepts easy to understand. And finally, Nursing Spectrum's Drug Handbook is nice because it really emphasizes safety and nursing actions. Each book has a slightly different focus, so it really depends on your needs.

i've gotten a new copy of their drug guide yearly for ~25 years. tried others and gone back it.
otherwise use medline plus drugs online available via dropdown link next to search engine right corner.

Hey guys! I'm currently a 1st semester nursing student at CSU Stanislaus in Turlock, CA. I am now entering into the Pharm. portion of the semester and need to buy a drug handbook. Does any one have suggestions as to which drug handbook is the best one out there? I want to be able to download it onto my PDA.
