An FYI-awhile ago someone on this board got in a great deal of trouble when co-workers found out her identity here (I don't know the details-I just remember hearing about it) So-please be very careful...Make sure your name and profile do not reveal who you are...Before you scoff you should know that we do have our share of trolls and plain wierdos on this board.If you don't believe me go visit the spectrum web site-seems that one of our members is trolling over there and harassing members that were banned from here....Sounds juvenile,doesn't it? But-that is just a step away from causing someone real trouble at their place of employment...

Hi Kristin-I really don't remember the details.I think someone she worked with read some posts here and guessed who the poster was and reported her to her employer.I can't recall if it was a pt confidentiality issue or bad mouthing her co-workers and superiors...(how you could PROVE that is beyond me) I know she left the board for a time and came back with a different screen name and profile...Also SuzyK was just threatened by someone on the board-I don't know all of the details of that either but the fellow member knew enough about her to scare everyone..Got to be careful-too many wackos and fruitcakes out there....

Point well taken about protecting your privacy here.

We have all shared personal info that someone could recognize and put two and two together if we share out workplace. All it takes is a coworker to recognize themselves (or a patient)in one of our 'vents', and if they are the vindictive type they could get a nurse in a peck of trouble.

So beware, guys and gals.
