I am in the Richmond, VA area! I am near Bon Secours but I will not be going there (though I would love to end up working there - one of their hospitals is literally about a mile from my house!). I will be attending John Tyler Community College (the online Commonwealth Nursing Program) starting in the fall. I am also a wife and a mom of 2 young children, and I work full time!
Baxter80 - I am originally from the Winchester area. I grew up in Berryville and went to Clarke County HS!
lynchburg checking in here, watching the clouds roll over the peaks of otter (off the blue ridge parkway!)
just a guess, but i think a lot of the nova nurses also check in on the md forum, since the two states are so "inter-bred" up there!!
i went to hs and college (the first time) between baltimore and dc, but we moved here to where we could get a 4 br house for $150k! my son and family are in silver spring (he's a med tech in the army at walter reed) and the $1450/mo they are paying for a 1100 sf 2 br apt blows my mind!!

It seems that the only post that people are on is "bon secours...". And how about people living more in the north of VA it feels like only southerns are posting.
I bet you guess that I am from the north but it will be nice to have more Rn and student talking about school in fairfax, loudoun, princewilliam county too. And coomunity colleges as well.
