International RN graduate from the Philippines here. I have re-applied recently in CA-BON form NCLEX-RN since my initial application expired back in 2019. I have received the International Diploma Verification form from the Board of Nursing. When I called BON this morning, I was informed that this form has to be submitted to DFA. I spoke with my nursing school and they informed me that it should be submitted to PRC. Anybody knows where to send this to in the Philippines. I am currently in California and currently seeking to complete my requirements. Anybody who can shed light is greatly appreciated. Edited Nov 16, 2021 by Kitana2021 0 Likes

Kitana13 2 Posts Mar 11 I eventually didn’t have to go through international diploma verification. My evaluator approved my valid Philippine license in lieu of this form. Search DFA Apostille. I heard that’s how people get this form done. 0 Likes

It's good to know that you didn't have to go through with the diploma verification. Did you write to your analyst? I also send a valid philippine license, oh I hope my analyst will waive this requirement. 0 Likes

I submitted a request to my school and my school did the CAV-CHED and DFA Apostille. It's still in process though. It depends on your school if they will do everything, but if not, apply to your school for your diploma then go to CHED for the CAV (certification, authentication and verification) and after to DFA for the Apostille. Hope this helps. 1 Likes

Where did you study nursing? If you're an internationally educated nurse I know that Ca BRN requires an international diploma verification to sit NCLEX RN. For the Philippines you have to go to DFA (dept of foreign affairs for the verification). 0 Likes
