Where to Submit International Diploma Verification- DFA or PRC

World Registration

Updated:   Published

International RN graduate from the Philippines here. I have re-applied recently in CA-BON form NCLEX-RN since my initial application expired in 2019. I have received the International Diploma Verification form from the Board of Nursing. When I called BON this morning, I was informed that this form has to be submitted to DFA. I spoke with my nursing school, and they told me it should be submitted to PRC. Does anybody know where to send this to in the Philippines? I am currently in California and presently seeking to complete my requirements. Anybody who can shed light is greatly appreciated.

How did you get this form? My pop-up box says I must complete this, but I don't have the paper.

Hi kitana2021,

I am in the same dilemma. How did you go about yours? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I eventually didn't have to go through international diploma verification. My evaluator approved my valid Philippine license instead of this form. Search DFA Apostille.  I heard that's how people get this form done.

Hi.

Thank you for your reply. It's good to know you didn't have to complete the diploma verification. Did you write to your analyst? I also send a valid Philippine license; I hope my analyst will waive this requirement.

I have the same case. How did you go about this?

Hi.

I submitted a request to my school, and my school did the CAV-CHED and DFA Apostille. It's still in process, though. It depends on your school if they will do everything. If not, apply to your school for your diploma, then go to CHED for the CAV (certification, authentication, and verification) and DFA for the Apostille. I hope this helps.

I am not a registered nurse in the Philippines. I received an international diploma verification form as well. I'm confused because I thought that form was only for registered nurses.

Hi.

Why did you receive the international diploma verification form? What are you applying for?

Hi,

I am applying for the NCLEX RN exam.

Hi.

You said you were not a registered nurse from the Philippines and are applying for NCLEX RN. Where did you study nursing?

If you're an internationally educated nurse, I  know that  Ca BRN requires an international diploma verification to sit NCLEX RN. For the Philippines, you must go to the DFA (dept of foreign affairs for the warranty).

Hi,

I studied and a graduate as BSN in the Philippines. I'm confused because the form said, "Where have you registered as a professional nurse.”
