I graduated 8 months ago and have been looking at least every week for a school nurse position and I have not seen any posted. I'm beginning to think I am not looking in the right places or not using the right key words. I've looked on county school system websites, I've searched Indeed using "School Nurse", done the same with monster, tried my local newspaper.... Any other suggestions?

In my state, the Department of Public Instruction has a state-wide web listing of all job postings in the state for school systems. You have to register for access, but you don't have to be an educator. School nurse positions are posted under support staff I think. Maybe your state has something similar.

You can look at your states department of education website, and k-12jobspot.com.
My school district posts it's jobs on their website.

Remember it's near the end of the school year so some will pop up soon (if retiring and such)

Schoolsping is a site some districts use.

I agree with schoolspring.com ... also just check the individual school districts' websites. I'd expect to see postings for next year popping up in the next month or two... if you graduated 8 months ago, you probably haven't seen many postings because school nurse positions are filled over the summer for the following year and it's rare for a position to open mid-way through the year unless it's to replace a nurse who went on maternity leave or something.
