Where are you located VA nurses?

Just wondering where you all are located and what VISN are you in?

I'm located at the NJ Health Care Systems in East Orange/Lyons, NJ, VISN 3.

Hi,

I am thinking about transferring to the VA in Denver. Does anyone work there that can tell me what its like (nurse to pt ratio, etc.) on med-surg floor. I was also thinking about working in the ED. any info would be appreciated

Hi,

I'm in VISN 15, St. Louis. I'm also a vet. and have been with the V.A. for 8-years. I wouldn't dream of going back to the civilian sector.

Hello Everyone:

Have been away, then transfered from Fort Wadsworth to Fort Hamilton in NYC (8th MED BDE)

Work at VISN3 (Brooklyn Campus) and am waiting to transfer back into critical care/ICU. Going to work for the VA system best darn decision I have made (besides becoming a member of the ANC that is!)
