I am finishing up my DNP program at Pace University in New York City. It is a 3.5 yrs program of both in class and online activities. It is very intense because of all the writing and research classes but it can be done. I have a full time RN job and a part time NP job a husband but no children. If anyone decides to attend this program be very aware that it is very labor intensive writing wise but there are no clinical hours to complete or thesis to write, just a mentoring project and a publishable morificecript in the final semester.
I am almost halfway done with my DNP program. I already have a Master's degree in Nursing and am an NP. I work 40 + hours as an NP and take 2-3 classes per semester. My program is all online except for the clinical project during the last year. My DNP program is at UMASS-Amherst and the concentration is in public health which is why I chose this program. :) It is very time consuming and life can get crazy with all this working and studying but is still doable.

Where did you decide to go for your MSN- DNP and why? Just trying to make an informed decision based on others experiences.
thanks all!
