Just wondering if I should get them at my schools bookstore or if there was a great place on the web to get books cheap??
The book that I need is: Anatomy & Physiology, The Unity of Form & Function by Saladin it also comes with a CD Rom
I can buy it for $110.00 used or $146.70 new ..... my other question was should I buy this new or used??? I will also use this same book for A & P 2.
I also need the Lab manual that goes with it. My bookstore sells it for $79.70.
I know I have to get this bokk new.

barnesandnoble.com
half.com
ebay.com
amazon.com
i think theres a few more but i cant think of them right now! All I know is that there are definately better prices than your bookstore. For bars and noble you can become a member and save an extra 10%. Thats what I did! Those nursing books are expensive!!!!!

I agree with half.com and ebay. Good luck :)
Thanks for the responses! So far from looking its chaeper or the same price to get a new book at my schools bookstore. The used price is a another thing. I a little worried to get used since it comes with a Cd room and some other study guide and no one mentions that in the used books.

Hello!
I am very picky with my books. I don't mind used but I can't have multliple color highlighting, it drives me nuts! :) I have used Amazon.com in the past and have been pleased. They normally will say if there is highlighting or book damage. You can always ask the seller some questions on Amazon, e-bay, etc... Double check shipping rates and the sellers rate.
Check walmart.com. They sell text books also. Christmas is coming...ask for a walmart gift card. :)
However; books are always so over priced. I just spent $600 for this semester and next semester is $1000.
Good luck,

That is the same book that I just bought yesterday.(3rd edition, right?) The cheapest that I found a new one w/ CD was $136.00 and that was at my school bookstore. I also still need the lab book, a histology atlas and the study guide. This class is not cheap. Atleast we can use the books for A&P 1 and A&P 2 though.
Be sure to check out the A&P 1 spring/winter club in the pre nursing forum. We can help each other out.
