Hello my fellow nurses. I am struggling to pay for school and I am looking for scholarships that reward students with a GPA that is over 3.5. Can anyone give any suggestions? Is there any out there that exist?
Thank you!

Did you ask at your school's financial aid office?

Does your nursing school have any scholarships? I taught at a BSN program and served on scholarship committee. There was a variety of scholarships, with different requirements. for example: from particular church/religion, male, female, single moms, veteran of particular branch. Sometimes no one applied for some scholarships, sadly. Now some were small amounts ($250, $400, etc) but hey you could buy some of your books etc. Some had requirements what the money could be used for (tuition, fees but not rent) others unrestricted. And yeah you really should google this.

Your financial aid office will definitely be able to direct you in a better direction.

School scholarships are your best bet since your not competing against so many people like you would on fastweb or finaid.com. like the above poster said it's small amounts depending on the sponsor but you can win more than one. I won two at southern crescent. Hospitals sometimes have local scholarships. You just have to ask around..
