Where did you all buy your white nurse shoes?

Published

Ok, for my LVN program, my school requires that women wear white nurse shoes for clinicals, they have to be not cloth, and no laces. I'm looking to spend about $20-$40, if that is possible. I don't want to buy shoes online, I want to buy them in a store. Thank you for any suggestions!

My school picked out what shoes we had to wear....I'm not sure what area your from, but you should be able to find a uniform store that has plenty of shoes to pick from. We have one in my town that has a specific student section which has white shoes galore. Just look around until you find one. Good luck!!!

a nursing uniform store ..

I did a Google search in my area and for a uniform store. I took a drive up there and discovered the shoes i wanted in my case were cheaper online. I paid about $49 for some on Allheart.com I know you don't want to use the internet to purchase them but you may come out cheaper.

Same with the poster above. There is a uniform store about an hour away from me that carried great nursing shoes, but the same shoes were less expensive online. I bought the Nursemates Dove shoe and loved it. Why, if you don't mind me asking, do you not want to do online shopping?

I want to be able to try them on and walk around in them in a store before I buy them. I don't want to order them online and have them not be the right size or not comfortable. Thanks for all your suggestions. I'm gonna try some shoe stores like Shoe Carnival.

I had a hard time finding anything when I had to buy some last year. It sounds like my school isn't as restrictive though: white, no mesh, cloth, clogs, but they can have laces. I ended up going to walmart as a last resort and finally found something after looking at famous footwear, payless, etc. etc. Agh.

Yeah, I tried the Wal-Mart in my area, but they only had black work shoes, and no white ones, which is a shame because I found some good ones there, but they only had them in black!

I bought mine at Kmart and they were under $30.00 and comfortable.

Walmart Safetreds in white. If you can't find them in store, you can order them online, have them shipped to the store and take them out and walk in them there. If you don't like them, you can return them while you're there. Mine were $22 and they are fabulous! No sore feet at clinical.
