I want to buy a stethoscope. According the finding, the littmann classic II is a good one for work. I want to know where can I get a good price in GTA. My mother will come back form USA this weekend, or I have to order one in usa website, the bring to Canada?

I know you can get them at the University of Toronto bookstore, and I would imagine that any other educational institution with nursing or allied health program would sell them. I understand that U of T has a stethoscope sale in the fall for the medical program where reprepsentatives from the companies come to show their "wares".
Having said all that, I ordered mine from the American ebay and had it shipped to a US relative. But I think (but don't quote me on this) the various online medical stores in the states that sell stethoscopes like: GRX medical, kila labs, allheart, redding medical etc will ship to canada.
Good luck
thank you for your information

Hey there, I got mine from Ryerson University bookstore and it was littmann classic II. It cost me about 100 dollars but I've been using it for 3 years now. If you are afraid you can lose it, you can buy the cheaper version for about 30-40 dollars.
Hope this helps :)

You can generally find littmans online for less than university bookstores. A doctor friend of mine paid $200 for her littman cardiology III which I've seen online for less. If you decide to go with a non littman brand, chances are better that you'll get a good price.

I ordered mine online from FirstAidZone and paid a LOT less than the bookstores charge. They have a plethora of other useful items too.

That website doesn't seem to be working...
It worked perfectly well for me just now. I clicked on the link in your post and had no problems. Maybe it's your browser?

Have you checked Starkman's?
There's a little uniform store on Danforth Ave (east of Pape) - they sell stethoscopes too - maybe give a call?
