When will I receive my Nclex Eligibility in California

I'd like to know when will I receive my Nclex eligibility. I'm from California and I just went back to the Philippines to finish Nursing. I graduated last March 2010. I moved back here on June 2010 and applied that month as well, After 2 weeks, I got a mail from BON requesting for additional requirements from my school which includes: Class Schedule, Schedule of Clinical Rotation, Photocopy of enrollment forms, transcript of classes prior to enrolling at the nursing program and a photocopy of my passport. My school sent the documents last week of July via FedEx. I checked the tracking number at FedEx and it said that the recipient (BON) already received the documents last August 3, 2010. As of now, I still did not get any letter from BON. How long do I usually have to wait? :confused::confused::confused:

Really? You from Bay Area too? San Leandro? cool. I graduated from San Beda College. and you? How's your application? Did the BRN tells you to repeat some of the subjects again?

An hour away from san francisco...you can pm me too...right now i cannot send pm coz i just joined... Like you ob and med surg is the problem....i 'll appreciate any info you can give me...

zhapper.. heres my email, [email protected].. i graduated from ateneo de naga university.. its in bicol.. last week, i received a letter from licensing analyst asking for my clinical cases.. but it is also stated the if i have already have addressed the additional requirement, disregard this letter.. what was that mean? .. thank you..

hello guys,

i received mail from Ca BRN that they need my clinical rotation schedule for all clinical cases completed ( actual and assisted deliveries, cord dressings, major and minor procedures) reflecting exact dates clinical coursework was completed, locations rotations were located as well as instructor signatures. They also need this academic calendar which reflects exacts dates each semester, all holidays and all breaks and end.

I passed to 'em all the requirements even the additional documents like cases and other stuffs but it ended up as a piece of ****. I wasn't given eligibility. What they told me is that, MY NURSING EDUCATION DIDN'T MEET THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS IN CA. SO I need to study again MS and OB for me to be eligible. That's what happened to me.

Same problems with me guys.What will be your next step after you got denied?Maybe i'll try LVN first while i'm waiting for the CGFNS-CES processing.

hi kabayan i read all your posts,so you just received your denial letter?how many weeks did you wait for it upon submitting the copy of your cases?

Hello kabayan,It only took a week to evaluate my cases.It was really disappointing and frustating.Well,i have nothing to do but to comply all those deficiencies,take the LVN or get a CGFNS-CES and take an exam to another state.How about you?What's up with your application?

im still waiting for their response too kabayan,requested the clinical copy of my cases from our school already..but also planning ato take the LVN exam for now,but i dont know how to start...:(I dont want to leave California because my family are all here..:(

Same here, i don't wanna leave CA but if that's the only way to take the NCLEX-RN without completing those deficiencies,why not.Keep me posted if you've decided to take the LVN.Are you from the bay?ADD ME ON FACEBOOK so we'll keep in [email protected] bless you:)
