When to start applying?

With Christmas break soon approaching and graduation a mere 151 days away (not that I'm counting or anything), I was wondering when would be a good time to start submitting applications/resumes out? I was going to take a couple of days and do up a good resume during break but when is too early to start submitting these? Any advice/experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I'd go with writing the good resume and wait on applying. When to apply depends on the facility. Some will hire graduate nurses, some make you wait until you pass the boards. For those that hire new graduates, I would start apply at least a month before. Some that don't hire new grads will hold a job for you.

You can also call the recruiters and see what they recommend. Also ask your instructors about the experiences they have seen with other students.

And I totally understand counting the days. ;) I have 17 left.
