When do you graduate?

Let's here from the distance ed students where ever you are attending, when you are scheduled to graduate?

It depends on the state. Some states require the school send a letter of completion which can be done prior to graduating, others want the transcript which is sent after graduation. It's really not a big deal either way, because you can begin preping for the nclex during that time and be ready to test when you get the authorization.

I am also graduating from Excelsior in September. Hope to have a temp permit by October.

September is so close, you must be so excited. Temporary practice permit, what state are you living? Just curious b/c not all states offer.

Graduate from Excelsior College with an ASN November 18, 2005.

Got a phone call at the motel that morning telling me the hospital had been moved to disaster status because of Hurricane Rita and there would be no testing going on that weekend.

Thought it was a joke at first. Now I don't know whether to scream or cry, especially when they told me they could get me scheduled for February of 06...I said oh he%% NO! Now they say they will try to get us back in toward the end of October.

Doesn't look like my group will ever finish.
