Hi everyone! I'm a first semester nursing student and applied to be a PCT in the CVICU at my university. I got to shadow there for class and loved it, so my clinical instructor encouraged me to apply when a PCT position opened up. I had an interview last Tuesday that went extremely well. The nurse manager discussed my schedule, when I'd work, and sent a copy of my BLS card to HR. She said she'd be in touch and I sent a thank you email the next day.
It's been a week and I haven't heard from her. Is it appropriate to call and ask about the status of everything? Thank you!
