So I just graduated nursing school. I'm hoping to sit for the NCLEX in January. Just depends on when they let me sit for it. Anyway, when can I actually start applying? I've heard of a few new grads applying once they finished the final but to me it seems weird to apply without a license number.
Thoughts?
Around here if you wait until you graduate to apply for new grad positions you already missed the boat. In other places hospitals don't want to hear from you until you have a license. Research what is common in your area and act accordingly. Personally I started applying four months prior to graduation.
Your thread has been moved to our Nursing First Job Hunt Assistance forum. Good luck to you.
