First off...HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!! Second of all; in the previous years what has rolled on through the ED doors where you work on New Year's Day??? I have my volunteer work in the ED and want to know what to expect....aside from drunkenness (morning shift get that pleasure)

My day sucked!! On a bright side, I dc'd a GSW to the head,...that's a first,..hope he realizes just how lucky he is!

What's rolled through the door? Everything imaginable from the tragic to the comic to the just plain weird.
We had over 50 broken bones come through, 10 alcohol poisonings and just plain dumb

Same as Altra. Although a gentleman who claimed to be a Jedi Knight did show up as well. Walkin' & talkin' pretty good for a bal >300. I guess he was in the comic category.

We had alot of overdoses, CPR, one MI, handful of suicide attempts. The rest INFLUENZA!!!
