For finals, my university has a policy that we can't get our final exam marks back until approximately 2 weeks after the final exam has been written. For papers, it depends on the tutor. I have this one paper that was handed in over a month ago that we haven't gotten back, but at the same time the longer paper that I handed in two weeks ago, I have already gotten back. And this was the same tutor.
