i'm still pretty early in the program, so i can't answer most of your questions, but i am going to tell you the same thing my best friend has been telling me the last few days (i take health safety on thursday...it's my first with excelsior)
stop. take a deep breath. you are studying, you are smart, you can do this. start telling yourself this...negative begets negative, and positive breeds positive. so, start right now, and with every breath you take, tell yourself that you can do this! and force yourself to believe it. and take out your ec guide and notes, and start studying...a d doesn't pass, but a c does, so you don't have that many points to go before you're there! stop dwelling on what you "should've" done, and do it! use every minute you can to study, give it your best, and go in there on friday with a positive attitude. that's the best you can do. and, if it happens, great, you did it! and if not, then you can call your ec advisor and see what you need to do next, but no need to start worrying about that yet. it's that simple! (ha! i make it sound easy, huh!) it definitely won't do you good to get stressed and clam up in a roly-poly ball. be proactive! good luck, keep us posted!
i soo needed that! :trout: kinda like a cyber slap to calm me down! lol ...thank you so much..positive thoughts positive thoughts positive thoughts..i can do this! i scored a 98 on my teas test and i only had 80 minutes to take it because i got to the testing center late, they were bout to close, and it was the deadline date...and i only took 55 minutes psha...u r soo right i am smart enough to do this! pressure is my middle name woot!
studying in 3..2..1..
Continue to review and pass the test on Friday. Self doubt is not an option. If for some reason you fail, call the school immediately and ask for permission to take it again before September 30th. Good Luck this friday.
If your under the old curriculum, you don't have to worry about the FCCA. That only for the new curriculum people.

yup, i somehow managed to do it. i've watched soo many people over the last 3 years here on allnurses start excelsior, take their tests, pass the cpne, graduate, pass their boards, and go bout their lives as rns...and here i am...
i've procrastinated in the worst way possible with this program..no excuse is good enough. ya'll know the deadline to complete the nursing concepts under the old cirriculum is sept 30..i have one test left..nc6..i am scheduled for this friday, sept 18 at 11am..
i got a d on this test in july and i've been so nerve wracked and scared of flunking again that i've been counter productive and not studying like i should...so here's my question: if i flunk this last test and miss the deadline, what happens to me?! what will be added to my requirements, what's this fcca thing, etc?
any info would be helpful for just in case i find myself on the opposite end of relieved/happy friday....
thank you guys
