What Would YOU Like??

I've been orienting on a med surg floor with the BEST preceptor! I'd like to get her a special gift to thank her for being so great. Any suggestions? I don't know of anything that she collects, or has a particular passion for. She's married, has 2 kids she adores, and she really loves her job. What kind of gift would you like to receive?

Yes,

CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brownies sound good.

I always like something that someone made just for me. I think those are the most special gifts. I agree with the nice card, and note to your preceptor's manager...GREAT idea!

I don't think it matters. Be sure to include a nice card that let's your preceptor know how you feel. That's going to lift her/him up more than any gift.

Also, be sure to send a note of appreciation to the person's manager. Brownie points are always appreciated. :)

I like this suggestion!

What ever else you deside an appropriate note and (maybe even more important)I agree with the poster that said a note to her manager.
