Please advise. This is not a difficult question. Does NO ONE have the answer to this question? Please help. I really have no clue what sites to look on. Moderator, anyone? Please provide useful web sites for job hunting. A Google search didn't provide very good sites and maybe the sites are not the greatest but what do people use? Please answer, please.
sillywilly 54 Posts Jan 25, 2012 Craigslist has a decent amount of Nursing Jobs in my area. If you want to be really thorough you can google things by category. Like "hospitals near Los Angeles". Then write down all of the hospitals and go to each of their websites and look for the career or employment section. Then you can start over and google nursing homes, surgery centers, or wherever you are looking for employment. If it is a smaller facility you can always call or just show up with a resume.
WorldTravelingYogi 379 Posts Jan 25, 2012 Thanks sillywilly. I thought my question would be easy but maybe it's not. I want some national site where I can plug in various random cities across the country when I hear about an area that has a job.I know certain areas have their own sites that are super popular but I am hoping there is a popular website used across the country that I could use for various markets in the whole of the States.

Heck, I've even found local jobs here in the midwest listed on west coast websites! Not in my case because I go to school in Puerto Rico in an accelerated program in English. All the sites are in Spanish. There are tons of jobs here but the pay is awful and I don't speak Spanish so I'll be moving somewhere that I can find a job. I will not be moving back to CA for a year or two until I have experience because everyone I know out of nursing school in CA cannot find a job and are leaving the sate or ending up at jails or other random places.I thought my question would be easy but I guess it really wasn't. Thanks for everyone's input. As I hear about random sleepy towns across the country that are hiring I wanted to plug them into a nursing job site.
