Hi! My story might be a little unique, because I already held a graduate degree in biology before I entered nursing school-a 4 year BSN program, but my GPA was 3.67 when I applied to nursing school. I know at my school, there were only 5 spots open for transfer/second degree students, since the rest of the class started as traditional aged-pre-nursing students freshman year at the school. (At my school, nursing classes start sophomore year) So I think the competition was tough plus I hear now there are really long waiting lists to get into a lot of schools! But it is definitely worth it to be patient and stick with it! :)

My GPA was a 4.0 when I was accepted into nursing school.

3.93 before

3.86 after

3.83.

Have I mentioned that many complained because they weren't selected, so those with GPAs of 2.7 (!!!) were picked up at the last minute?
