What type of fields can an LVN work in?

Yes, medical technical assistants are nursing that go through a modified peace officer academy. We learn laws of arrest, search, handcuffing, etc etc.

Here's some more info about the position. It is a couples years old and doesn't reflect increases in pay and benefits.

no guns, although you learn to fire one at the academy. You will carry cuffs though.
