What type of Automobiles do you drive as a nurse.

Published

List the type of automobiles that you all drive since you've gotten your nursing diploma/degree. Indicate your status as CNA, LPN or RN. :)

Sorry, dudes... just had to post

RN since 2000,LPN before that

had a 2001 Ford Escape but it was cursed

Current vehicles 2004, 4WD Dodge Durango & 1998 Dodge Stratus

While in school for LPN to RN transition, I drove a fire engine red "hooptie-mobile." It was a 1988 Delta 88 that my Grandpa gave me. It was UGGGLY, but a solid mode of transportation. God, I miss that ol' hooptie. I'm kicking myself for trading that bad boy in for the Stratus. Would have been a great starter for my teen who starts BTW (behind the wheel) in the morning. 2 more weeks & she should be a licensed driver... I am scared, lol

lol, my best friend had an 88' delta 88 that was starting to fall apart, but we had great times in that car. Not only does he miss selling it, but so does his friends :p

Why is it, that those so concerned about honoring those who sacrifice themselves for our freedoms, are also the same people to criticize you the minute you practice those freedoms?

And if you don't like the topic, don't reply to it. Your condescension isn't helping your cause, nor is your arrogance and ignorance.

EDIT---

BTW I drive 2 Jeeps, a 1999 Wrangler TJ and a 1993 Cherokee XJ (strictly a trial rig)

Dude, I have no idea why you are posting at all. Per your own quote as of Jan '05 "I'm REALLY struggling with making a career change decision. I am a 31 year old GM of a Furniture Store, and cannot wait to get out of that industry". So quit the charade you have no clue about male nursing issues. I have been a RN for five years and an Advance Practice nurse for 5 years. So I have plenty of experience about issues that affect males in this profession.....and what you drive ain't one of them.

Today was my last day on active duty in the Navy after a 21 year career, pretty much all of it in Naval Special Warfare. I do in fact drive a car(hunk of junk to everyone but me). and ride a custom Harley(pretty cool) I am by no means offended by the question. If what you do for a living is the only definition of "who you are" and all that you're interested in talking about is those topics that strictly enhance your professional skills, then sorry. My advice is get out more. We are all more than the sum total of our job description. Dont mean to anger anyone, just pulling the trigger on that opinion that 21 years in the Nav has bought me the priviledge of aiming around town.

18 years, my friend, started as PVT now CPT and will retire in 10 more years. You have no idea who I am as a person, do you? If I know you speak up, let me know! .......... But I don't think you have any idea who I am.

Maybe a did take out some frustration on the 4th of July after seeing a documentary on some of the kids I PERSONALLY performed anesthesia on, sitting in Walter Reed with one or more limbs amputated undergoing PT. I think you would have felt this particular question at that point in time to be a silly one. So I vented.................shoot me!

I still think its a ridiculous question, and I really got fired up with the personal attacks that my post generated(which was directed at the QUESTION asked, not at any one particular PERSON). If you read what I said, I attacked the question and then a made a general public statement that we all could grow up a bit.

So have at it, throw your insults. Just like you have the freedom to speak your mind, so do I.....................................................................

IT IS A RIDICULOUS QUESTION! IT IS A RIDICULOUS QUESTION! IT IS A RIDICULOUS QUESTION! IT IS A RIDICULOUS QUESTION! IT IS A RIDICULOUS QUESTION! (lolololol)

(by the way I drive a used '99 Sentra, of course my wife took the good vehicle, a '05 Sequoia (ROTFL!))

You are so obnoxious :argue: . It's not our fault you watched that documentary. If you were out having fun :biere: , you wouldn't have had the time to get on line to even read the question. You really do need some R & R & R. Meaning relax , relate, and release (and not your frustration). Ticking time bombs sometimes walk and always explode. slow down buddy and enjoy life a lot. Seems to me your wife deserved the right to take the new car (ROTFL) :biggringi especially if you sound so uptight at home :smiley_ab . But really, enjoy conversations, you might learn something, rather it start out as a RIDICULOUS QUESTION or not. I'm sure everyone's laughing at you, I sure did :lol2: :rotfl: :chuckle :roll , cause IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS and on that note.........have a good day. :deadhorse :crash_com

I was originally part of the 10th CSH, then they lost their mission and I went North to the 28th CSH while they were in Camp Dogwood. Then we moved into Baghdad and reopened Ibn Sina Hospital.
