What is the truth behind taking the nclex in Philly.

Published

I heard its easier to pass the nclex in Philly. Majority of my classmates took it and passed in Philly on their first attempt. I live Freehold and so I took the nclex in somerset and i failed each time (4x) i was close to passing but I was below passing in basic care and comfort, you need to have above passing in each category. But anyways i heard you also shouldnt take the nclex at the same spot. Both my parents are RN's so it shouldnt be this hard for me to pass, I dont know what Im doing wrong. My parents say its not easier to pass anywhere everyone gets the same difficulty of questions.

The NCLEX is a national exam. While it is not the exact same exam for each individual, the contents and assessment is the same. Taking it in the same or different location each time is irrelevant, the questions are selected based upon your ongoing responses. What you need to do is to look at your candidate report and determine the areas you need to focus on that you were near or below the passing standards.

Good luck.
