What do you think about TV nursing comedy/drama like Nurse Jackie?

I never watched Nurse Jackie but I do know that many people enjoy it. Do you get anything from watching Nurse Jackie or similar nursing shows?

i'm another fan of the show nurse jackie, however, i would like to see a male as a nurse portrayed in a positive manner probably in one of the lead roles on t.v. is just only fair....just saying :cool:

The show is hilarious and totally over the top.

I didn't really watch Nurse Jackie. I did watch HawthornRN, the one with Jada Pinkett-Smith. I also love House. To me it was just entertainment.

lol yes because nurse jackie is such a positively portrayed nurse lol. sometimes i worry that i'm a little too zoe when i'd much rather be more jackie or ackalightis

Not a fan of Nurse Jackie, but I did enjoy HawthoRNe (before it was cancelled), love House, and will even watch reruns of Strong Medicine

HawthoRNe fan here...we need to petition to bring that show back in my opinion! Grey's ananomy catches me here and there and sometimes house does too but I never really watched nurse jackie so I can't give an opinion, though you all opinion makes me wanna order it on netflicks. Lol

For me, I much preferred ER but its done. Good comedy offered through scrubs . And house was great fave. I don't have movie channels so nurse Jackie, outta the question. Never seen it, but shoes like this either over dramatize reality, or romanticize a hard job making it appear more appealing. Or insults the industry. Purely entertainment purposes only.

I just started watching Nurse Jackie and I'm addicted. But the first thing I thought when I saw the pilot was, "She actually gets a 30 minute lunch break?!" Lol. Love it!
