I'm enrolled for human anatomy for this next spring semester. I wanted to start studying now since I've heard that its a very difficult class. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to study??

A&P isn't that difficult, it's just a lot of memorization. If you want to start memorizing stuff, I suggest the names of bones and their locations (carpals, tarsals, metacarpals, mandible, ect.), blowflow through the heart, muscles and their locations, parts of the brains including the lobes (temporal, occipital, ect.), the digestive tract and its parts. These are good places to start.

I'm taking A&P1 during the spring semester & I've already started memorizing blood flow around the heart and and the different names for around the heart. I did this by going on YouTube and watching lectures. It's REALLY helpful! Also, the brain, muscles, digestive system. The most important parts of the body are things u should know before taking the class

Maybe buy an anatomy coloring book and start looking at it? I don't think there's anything especially difficult in basic A&P, it's just the huge volume of info to memorize in a pretty short amount of time. You can always start memorizing in advance, though. :)
My post should've read blood-flow through the heart, not... the word that it says. Wow, gotta love autocorrect.

It helped me in A&P to draw out different body parts and to label them over and over.

I bought a coloring book and have been studying and coloring it for the last month or so. My class starts 1/14. I think it's helping!
Where can I get that coloring book? Can I get it at a local retail store?

Your local Barnes and Noble probably has some. Amazon is also a good place. The one by Kapit is very good.
I got mine from Barnes and Noble! Mines. Cheapy $5 one but there's some wonderful ones there!
