I have 3 scopes

Littman Cardio III my favorite,

Littman 4100 Electronic for initial assessments,

Littman Classic II given to me @ work.

Love the 4100 and you are right, you can hear everything!! Even w/ the volume mostly off, heart, breath sounds can be deafening.

Wouldn't trade them for anything.

Bought a green Littman Cardiology III as a treat for post-graduation but the tubing is very broad. So I got a black Adascope which has a narrower tubing but just as good acoustics and the eartips are more comfortable--but most of all it winds up nicely in my large scrubs side pocket. I'm beginning to think a $12 model from Walmart would be just as good.

I have a littman lightweight. I bought a steth clip for it....has anyone used these clips?

One of my friends uses a clip. Personally I feel naked without it around my neck. lol

I have a cheapy Prestige in lilac from the uniform store and I just ordered a GRX CD27 (Littman Cardiology III knockoff) in orange.

How do you like it? I think I will order one of those, then if I don't like it I'll buy a Littman when the financial aid comes!

lol I have two...but now I only use one. I have a Littmann Classic II S.E. and a Littmann Cardiology III (which is the one I use, obviously!) It's in the color plum, which is a pretty dark purple! My Classic II is the color ocean, a very very light blue.

I think sprague steths suck. The sound could be clear but I sold mine as the binaurals just did not fit and the extrnal noise always sneaked in my ears... Not for us EMT students I guess.. The double tubing was really stiff and not too flexible.

I have the Littman 3100 Electronic in plum. I LOVE it! Sounds are so clear. Definitely worth the investment my dad made :)
